AHIS, Alliance for Health Implementation Science

Membership / Affinity Group

Where the next gap gets named.

The AHIS Affinity Group is the patient and community voice. It brings patients, caregivers, patient advocates and community organizations together to surface the gaps they see and shape what AHIS takes on. It launches in Phase 2 of AHIS governance.

What members will do

Your experience, put to work.

1
Raise gaps

Tell us where care breaks down. Gaps can become campaigns or Implementation Support Programs.

2
Shape campaigns

Review awareness campaigns and materials before they launch.

3
Choose what gets measured

Help decide which outcomes matter to the people a program serves.

4
Hear results first

Impact reports return to members before they're published.

How it grows

One group first, then by care area.

2
One AHIS Affinity Group

Members from every care area meet quarterly, online.

3
Groups by care area

As programs grow, groups break out by care area: respiratory, oncology and more.

Until Phase 2, you can still identify a gap anytime.
