Nothing contained on this website constitutes a guarantee of participation, funding, membership approval, or future opportunities.
6. User Submissions
If you submit comments, suggestions, feedback, applications, survey responses, or other materials to AHIS, you grant AHIS a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute those materials for organizational, educational, research, or operational purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You represent that you have the right to provide any materials you submit.
Member Spotlights. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Section 6, the license or permission granted to AHIS for User Submissions does not authorize AHIS to publish Member Spotlight materials without the approvals described here. Member Spotlight materials, including your name, likeness and perspectives, will be published only after you have reviewed and approved the proposed Spotlight. If you designate an organizational reviewer, AHIS will also obtain that reviewer's approval before publication. You may withdraw approval for future use by emailing info@ahis.org. After receiving your request, AHIS will stop new uses and take reasonable steps to remove the Spotlight from channels it controls. Withdrawal does not undo uses or distribution that occurred before your request, and AHIS may be unable to remove copies downloaded, archived or shared by others. This paragraph controls over any conflicting provision of this Section 6.
Please do not submit confidential or proprietary information unless requested under an appropriate confidentiality agreement.
7. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, all website content—including text, graphics, logos, icons, documents, photographs, videos, software, designs, and other materials—is owned by AHIS or used under license and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
